Owen Sound Police are looking for tips after several recent thefts in the city.
Police say they’re investigating several thefts from vehicles and a break and enter into a residential garage that occurred sometime overnight between Aug. 12-13.
City Police say the homeowner of the west side property where the garage was broken into reported about $8,000 worth of tools and sporting gear were taken. Two Norco mountain bikes, a stand up paddle board, a mig welder, a chain saw and numerous other tools were among the items stolen.
Owen Sound Police say the parties responsible are believed to have left the area by travelling the catwalk located between the 1100 block and 1200 block of 6th Avenue West and may have had a vehicle waiting in this area.
