The Collingwood Museum is presenting Hope And Healing Canada Saturday by Métis artist Tracey-Mae Chambers.
The project consists of a series of site-specific art installations using crochet, knit, and woven red yarns.
This work is used to illustrate connections between Indigenous, Inuit, and Métis peoples with Canadians, while also addressing the decolonization of public spaces.
Tracey-Mae Chambers will be at the museum on Saturday August 13 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
