The Midland SPCA and Humane Society has welcomed 32 cats and kittens from Northern Ontario.
On July 27th, the cats arrived from Dryden, which is about 1300 km north of Sudbury.
The local animal shelter is continuing efforts to help other shelters that are at capacity.
Once the new cats get settled, they’ll be treated for any parasites, then be spayed or neutered, and then microchipped so they can be ready to be adopted.
