Grey Bruce OPP have released the identity of a young woman who was fatally injured in a collision while cycling in Southgate.
OPP say, on July 26th at approximately 6:15 a.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Service and the Wellington North Fire Services responded to a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a bicycle on Southgate Sideroad 49, Southgate Township.
The cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene after lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful.
She has been identified as 20-year-old Marie Bearinger of Southgate Township.
