Grey Bruce OPP are investigating a fatal collision in Southgate.
At about 6:15 this morning, Grey Bruce OPP, Guelph-Wellington Paramedics and Wellington North Fire Services responded to a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a bicycle on Southgate Sideroad 49, Southgate Township.
The cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene after lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful. Their identity is being withheld pending next of kin notifications.
Grey Bruce OPP are continuing the investigation with the assistance of the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team (TIME).
