Severe thunderstorms are possible in Grey Bruce on Wednesday.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the region, saying severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon into this evening.
Forecasters say thunderstorms are expected to develop over eastern Michigan or Lake Huron in the afternoon, and then track eastward through the evening.
“Damaging wind gusts will be the main threat, though large hail and a few tornadoes are also possible. A significant tornado cannot be ruled out,” Environment Canada advises. “The threat of severe weather should decrease as storms move east this evening.”
