Austin Ryan of Waterloo, formerly of Owen Sound, won the GLT Niagara Open at Niagara National Golf & Country
Ryan was a convincing winner by 5 strokes ahead of Freddy D’Angelo of Niagara Falls ON.
His final round, Austin posted an 8-under par 64 to establish a new course record
With the win, Ryan wins $5,000 and gains 600 points towards the GLT Order of Merit presented by RollReady and the Ontario Open Qualifying Series.
The GLT will be at Port Dover Golf Club this weekend for the Southern Ontario Open where the winner and top 2 in the Ontario Open Qualifying Series will earn exemptions into the Sotheby’s International Realty Canada Ontario Open July 28-31.
