The OPP is currently investigating a serious assault involving numerous victims in Wasaga Beach.
Just after midnight on July 1st, police responded to a 9-1-1 call in relation to a serious assault in progress on River Avenue Crescent.
When officers arrived, a large crowd of youth were located on the streets; however they quickly dispersed, while two victims were identified and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police believe there are witnesses to the incident who may be in possession of cell phone video footage and are looking to speak to those individuals.
Police are also asking residents in the area who may have home surveillance footage to please review it and contact police if anything is observed that may be able to assist with the investigation.
