The Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 231 new COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths.
Deaths include a man from Muskoka over the age of 79 and a man from Simcoe County between the ages of 45 and 64.
Today’s update also includes six new hospitalizations.
There are currently 17 people hospitalized in the region with the virus including one person in ICU.
