Georgian College is suspending its mask mandate in all locations on campus, starting this Saturday.
That means the current requirement for masks in classrooms, labs and libraries is now also lifted.
However, the College says there may still be lab-specific PPE requirements.
While masks will not be required, officials say they are still strongly encouraged as an effective measure against the spread of COVID-19 and its variants.
Anyone who wishes to wear a mask on campus will have their choice respected.
MASK UPDATE: Effective June 25, Georgian will suspend masking in ✨all✨ locations on campus, unless required by lab-specific PPE requirements. This means the current requirement for masks in classrooms, labs and libraries is now also lifted.
