A young cyclist has suffered life-altering injuries, after being hit by a vehicle in Orillia.
The crash happened on West Ridge Boulevard on Sunday, June 19th shortly after 3:30 pm.
Police say a youth on a bicycle was transported to a local hospital and transferred by Air Ornge to a Toronto area Hospital with life-altering injuries.
Police encourage all drivers to be mindful of cyclists on the roadways, and further encourage all cyclists to follow the rules of the road and always wear a helmet.
