Orillia’s hospital is moving to self screening of visitors as of Tuesday.
Instead of being asked a series of questions upon entry, those arriving at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital will be asked to screen themselves for COVID-19.
Visitors will also no longer need to register in advance, but limits will remain in place on the number of visitors per patient at any one time. You will still be required to wear a mask at all times while inside the hospital and abide by physical distancing and other COVID-19 precautions.
