Members of the media and National Security experts are pushing back as former Conservative leader Erin O’Toole claims that interference from China cost his party seats in the last federal election.
O’Toole made the claims during an interview on CBC’s The House, which aired yesterday.
When asked for proof, O’Toole cited the party’s internal review but didn’t give any further details.
National Security experts argue that it’s difficult to prove interference and that any intervention was unlikely to be so decisive.
