A suspect has been arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation in Orillia.
The OPP says it was contacted on Tuesday morning by a member of the public, who noticed the stolen vehicle parked at a local residence.
Police were able to locate an individual who had keys in their possession and while taking them into custody, an edged weapon was located.
As a result, police have charged Shana Rolland (35), of Orillia ON, with the following:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime- over $5000, s. 354(1)(a) CC
- Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon, s. 91(2) CC
The accused was released on an Undertaking and will appear on July 26, 2022, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia, Ontario.
