The cause of three fires at the Springwater Aerodrome on Anne Street North are under investigation and being deemed suspicious.
Fire crews were called to the Wilson and Sunnidale area just after 1 o’clock Tuesday morning when they discovered three large commercial trailers on fire nearby in the field at the back of the airport property.
Officials say it took twenty firefighters to stop the fire from spreading to sixteen other trailers on the site and took 1.5 hours to get under control.
Damage is estimated at $150,000.
