Simcoe County Council will begin a gradual shift to in-person meetings starting June 14.
County Council and Committee of the Whole sessions will be hybrid meetings. Up to half of councillors will attend in person, with the remainder joining remotely.
The council chambers will remain closed to the public and the meetings will be streamed live.
The county says the new hybrid model will be re-assessed in fall.
