The City of Barrie is inviting residents to submit photos of their gardens for Communities in Bloom for a chance to be featured in the digital book and online photo gallery.
This year’s theme is The Year of the Garden and the deadline to register is July 6th.
There is also the Little Bloomers portion of Communities in Bloom for youth aged 6–14 to get involved and share photos of their flowers, container projects, vegetable gardens, window art or other art projects.
National CIB judges will be touring Barrie from July 26 and 27 to evaluate the accomplishments of the entire community.
