Some delays in the voting process have been reported around Ontario today.
This morning, some people took to twitter to report a longer than expected wait to vote in a number of places inlcuding Ottawa, Niagara, Cambridge and Burlington.
Some reported delays due to the computerized voting system. Some voting locations were also changed in some major urban centres.
Bayshore News hasn’t received reports of any significant local delays.
In Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, there are nine candidates, all vying to replace outgoing Progressive Conservative MPP Bill Walker who has held the seat since 2011.
In Huron-Bruce there are eight candidates including incumbent Progressive Conservative Lisa Thompson.
Polls are open until 9 tonight.

Elections Ontario says 1,066,545 voters cast their ballot at area advance polls during 10 days of advance voting in this year’s general election.
It says this represents 9.92 per cent of eligible voters in Ontario.
Elections Ontario says, in comparison, during five days of advance voting at area advance polls in 2018, 698,609 voters, or 6.8 per cent of eligible voters, chose to cast their ballot.
