Ramara is looking at renaming some roads in the township to get rid of duplication and avoid confusion.
In some cases there are separate roads in the township with the same name, or names that are similar to other roads in nearby communities.
This can lead to delays during emergencies as dispatchers take extra time to ascertain where to send help.
The township is planning an open house on June 8 at the Township Administration Building to provide details of its road name review.
