A pair of immunization clinics are coming to Huron County next week, for students not caught up on their shots.
The clinics are coming to Clinton and Goderich, providing routine immunizations for school-age youth include protection against:
- Tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis (Tdap vaccine)
- Human papillomavirus (HPV vaccine)
- Hepatitis B (Hep B vaccine)
- Meningococcal disease (MenC-ACYW-135 vaccine)
Typically, students receive these immunizations at school-based clinics. However, disruptions to healthcare services during the COVID-19 pandemic have meant that many youth have not been able to stay up to date on immunizations.
The clinics operating in Huron County include:
- Wednesday, May 25 | Libro Hall | 239 Bill Fleming Dr., Clinton | 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- Wednesday, June 8 | Goderich Memorial Arena, | 180 McDonald St., Goderich | 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- Friday, June 10 | HPPH Clinton site| 77722B London Rd., RR #5, Clinton | 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
