A 22-year-old Bruce County woman has been charged with drug trafficking after being arrested in Saugeen Shores.
Town Police say officers on patrol observed a female known to them who was wanted on two arrest warrants on Friday, May 13.
Police say officers stopped the female and placed her under arrest.
According to Saugeen Shores Police, an officer at the scene discovered the female was in possession of a large amount of suspected fentanyl.
Police say the street value of the seized narcotics is over $2,800. They also confiscated $475 in cash.
The 22-year-old woman, who has not been identified by police, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
