Huron and Perth counties have marked their third death linked to COVID-19 for the month of May.
The single fatality was logged in the region Wednesday, raising the local death toll to 109.
In April, Huron Perth Public Health recorded nine COVID-19 related deaths in the health region.
While there are currently no hospitalizations linked to the virus, outbreaks have been reported at several health facilities, including:
- Stratford General Hospital (Stratford)
- Bluewater Rest Home (Bluewater)
- Huronview (Huron East)
- Spruce Lodge (Stratford)
- Country Meadows (Perth East)
- McCarthy Place (Stratford)
