The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 198 new COVID-19 cases and three deaths.
Deaths include three men – two over 79 years old and one between the ages of 65 and 79 – all were from Simcoe County.
Today’s update – the first since Monday – also includes 15 new hospitalizations.
Currently, there are 36 people hospitalized in the region with the virus including 5 people in ICUs.
