An Orillia man is facing child porn-related charges.
On October 21st, 2021, Barrie Police executed a search warrant at an Orillia residence and seized several computer devices and cell phones for forensic analysis.
The forensics established ownership of the devices and several images and videos of child porn.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, police arrested a 24-year-old Orillia man on April 27th and charged him with Accessing Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography.
He was held for bail and later released on specific conditions related to the criminal offenses.
Police did not name the accused.
