Free dental screenings are available for children and youth under 17 at various locations in Simcoe Muskoka.
The health unit says a dental screening is a visual look at teeth and gums and is done by a Registered Dental Hygienist.
However, it does not replace a dental examination by a dentist.
Free dental screening are now available by appointment at SMDHU locations in:
- Barrie
- Collingwood
- Cookstown
- Gravenhurst
- Huntsville
- Midland
- Orillia
