The COVID-19 death toll has risen to 106 in Huron and Perth counties.
A single death was reported in the region Wednesday, marking the ninth death in the two counties during April of 2022.
There are currently 7 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Huron-Perth, while several care facilities are currently experiencing outbreaks, including:
- St. Marys Memorial Hospital (St. Marys)
- Fordwich Village (Howick Twp)
- Hillside Manor (Perth East)
- Kingsway Lodge (St. Marys)
- Seaforth Manor Nursing Home (Huron East)
- Chartwell Anne Hathaway (Stratford).
