A 25-year-old Barrie resident faces charges after a stabbing on Barrett Crescent.
Barrie Police responded at 3:20 pm Sunday and learned the suspect had fled on foot.
The victim was taken to hospital and was later airlifted with a serious injury to a Toronto area trauma center,
At 4:50 pm the accused was found and arrested without incident.
He’s charged with 3 counts of failing to comply with probation, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, and was released from custody after a bail hearing the next day.
He’s scheduled to reappear in court on May 2nd to face the charges.
