The COVID-19 death toll has risen into the triple-digits in Huron and Perth counties.
Three deaths linked to the novel coronavirus were confirmed in the region Wednesday.
The update raises the local death toll to 101.
Currently, five people are hospitalized due to the virus, while outbreaks have been declared at three new long-term care and retirement homes:
- Fordwich Village Nursing Home (Fordwich)
- Kingsway Lodge (St. Marys)
- Seaforth Manor Nursing Home (Seaforth)
- Anfield Manor (Clinton)
- Spruce Lodge (Stratford)
