The sale of some prime waterfront land in downtown Orillia is a done deal.
The city has closed finalized the sale of nearly 9 acres of land along Front Street, to the FRAM building group.
The city chose FRAM after putting out a call for proposals for the former industrial land.
Its plan includes a mix of uses, including townhouses, an eight story residential and commercial building as well as green space and pedestrian links. The land sold for 10.5 million dollars.
