An attempted murder charge has been laid, following an altercation near Brucefield.
OPP were called to a residence on Bannockburn Line on March 20th, where reports say one person was injured by gunfire and taken to hospital.
A 45 year old man from Central Huron remains in custody, and has been charged with:
- Attempt Murder
- Discharge a Firearm into or at a Place in a Reckless Manner
- Careless Use of a Firearm
- Aggravated Assault
A 33 year old Morris-Turnberry man has also been charged with:
- Discharge a Firearm into or at a Place in a Reckless Manner
- Careless Use of a Firearm
- Aggravated Assault
Police say the victim of the shooting has now been released from hospital.
