The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 214 new COVID-19 cases today and 3 deaths.
Deaths include two men โ one from Simcoe County and another from Muskoka between the ages of 65 and 79. A woman over the age of 79 from Simcoe County also passed away.
There have been 16 virus-related deaths in Simcoe-Muskoka so far this month.
Todayโs update, the first since Monday, also includes 4 new hospitalizations.
Currently, 20 people are hospitalized with the virus throughout the region with 4 active cases in ICUs.
