
The Owen Sound Attack keep on rolling.
Nick Chenard made 28 saves for his third shutout of the season as the Attack scored five in the third period to break open a scoreless game, beating the Sarnia Sting 5-0 in Ontario Hockey League action at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre Tuesday night.
The Attack have now won three straight and extended their point streak to 13 games.
Lorenzo Bonaiuto opened the scoring at 4:39 of the third period. Ethan Burroughs and Deni Goure scored just over three minutes apart near the midway mark of the frame to extend the Attack lead to 3-0. Servac Petrovsky and Cedrick Guindon added empty-netters.
The Attack outshot Sarnia 40-28 while going 1 for 2 on the power play; the Sting finished 0 for 5.
