The K-9 Unit had to be called in, after the driver of a mini-van crashed into a utility pole in Barrie and fled the scene.
The accident happened on Bradford Street between Victoria and John shortly after noon today.
Two passengers of the vehicle were reportedly taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Alectra Utilities had to be called in for the clean-up, which took a few hours.
No word yet if any arrests were made.
