The Town of the Blue Mountains wants residents to stop flushing wipes.
The town says even if the package says they are flushable, sanitary wipes place unnecessary strain on wastewater infrastructure.
Town officials urge you to only flush toilet paper.
A list of other items not to flush are: hair, floss, pills, paper towels, cotton balls, grease and cooking oil, cat litter, bandages, diapers, pads and other items.
