The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 79 new COVID-19 cases and 1 death.
22 people are hospitalized with the virus across the region and 7 people are in ICU.
No new hospitalizations were reported today.
To date, 85 percent of the region’s over 5 population has received a first vaccine dose while 81 percent has received a second. 52 percent of the region’s over 18 population has received a third/booster dose.
