“You should never leave valuables behind in changerooms.”
That’s the message from Barrie police after a significant number of cell phones, debit cards and other personal property were stolen from a changeroom at a recreational facility in the north end of the city on Sunday.
Police say the investigation is currently in the early stages and members of the Street Crime Unit are in the process of trying to secure video surveillance footage that may assist in identifying the person responsible.
