The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 167 new COVID-19 cases today and 6 deaths.
Deaths include a man and a woman between 65 and 79, three women who are over the age of 79, and a man who is over 79 years old. All are from Simcoe County.
Today’s update also includes 1 new hospitalization.
Currently, there are 23 people hospitalized with the virus in Simcoe-Muskoka.
There are six active cases in ICU’s throughout the region.
