The first robbery happened around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, while the second robbery occurred just after 8 p.m. on Monday, February 21.
Thanks to video surveillance, police immediately realized that the two incidents were carried out by two different persons.
As a result of the investigation, police say two boys, aged 16 and 17, are now charged with robbery and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Barrie in the coming weeks.
