An incident that began with a suspicious person going to the wrong address in Barrie, has resulted in two arrests along with the seizure of drugs and a weapon.
Police were called on Saturday night about a suspicious man in the Wellington Street East area, where officers located a vehicle and determined the passenger was failing to comply with a court order.
While attempting to arrest the 26-year-old Wasaga Beach resident, police say a struggle ensued, and the man attempted to access a pouch around his waist, where officers located a fully loaded firearm and a quantity of suspected fentanyl and cocaine in the car.
The driver, a 49-year-old man also from Wasaga Beach, was arrested and both men are facing several charges.
