The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 156 new COVID-19 cases today and 1 death.
Today’s update also includes 4 new hospitalizations – currently, there are 45 people hospitalized throughout the region with the virus.
To date, 85 percent of the region’s over 5 population has received a first vaccine dose while 41 percent have received a second.
47 percent of the over 18 population has received a third/booster dose.
