Springwater is searching for a local community group or individual interested in operating its Farmers’ Market in Elmvale.
The partner would act as the Market Manager, and would be responsible for:
-Vendor coordination;
-Attendance at the weekly market;
-Set up and take down;
-Management of finances/budget; and
-Other administrative duties as required.
The Springwater Farmers’ Market – Elmvale operates from June to September every Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the municipal parking lot at the Elmvale Community Hall (33 Queen Street West), with annual market preparation (i.e. vendor applications, administrative tasks) focused in the spring.
The market features in-season produce, crafts, gifts and baked goods from local producers across Simcoe County.
