A survey is open in Kincardine seeking feedback about the Promenade on Queen.
The municipality, Kincardine BIA and Chamber of Commerce are conducting a review of the Promenade, which closed Queen Street in Kincardine to vehicle traffic every weekend throughout the summer to transform the downtown into a pedestrian friendly shopping market with restaurant patios, vendors and entertainment.
“A survey of the downtown businesses was conducted in the fall with the majority of businesses (~70%) indicating they would like Promenade on Queen to continue,” a release from the Municipality of Kincardine says.
The new survey being conducted looks to residents, visitors and previous attendees of the Promenade for input.
“The results of the public input, a survey conducted with downtown businesses as well as data collected on audience attendance, will inform a staff recommendation to council in early March on the Promenade on Queen,” a release explains.
The survey can be accessed online here.
It is open until Feb. 11.
