Police say a Morris-Turnberry man was the victim of a fatal crash involving a horse and buggy, near Belmore.
First responders were called to Howick-Turnberry Road near Kieffer Line just after 8:00 a.m. Monday, after reports and SUV collided with a horse-drawn buggy.
According to police, the buggy driver was transported to hospital, and later pronounced dead.
The deceased has been identified as 27 year old Jacob Wall of Morris-Turnberry.
OPP say the driver and passenger of the SUV were treated in hospital for minor injuries.
Howick-Turnberry Road was closed for several hours for the collision investigation, however, it has since re-opened for travel.
