A Winter Weather Travel Advisory is in effect for parts of Simcoe County today, including: Barrie – Collingwood – Hillsdale.
Environment Canada says snow squalls off of Georgian Bay are expected to affect the area this morning.
It says the squalls should weaken by this afternoon or tonight with up to 10 cms possible.
If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
