A stunt driver has been stopped in Nottawa.
The OPP says a vehicle was clocked at 155 km/hr in a 60 zone in a residential area and then failed to stop at a stop sign early last Thursday morning.
Police say upon speaking with the driver, an odor of alcohol was detected and a 28 year old man from Clearview Township was arrested.
Police say he has been charged with:
· Race A Motor Vehicle – Excessive Speed
· Disobey Stop Sign – Fail to Stop
· Fail to Have Insurance Card
The driver received an immediate 30 day driver’s license suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
