Just ahead of the Christmas holidays, an outbreak of COVID-19 was declared at a school in Clinton.
The Avon Maitland District School Board declared the outbreak at Clinton Public School this weekend.
The AMDSB says the single case prompted the closure of one class, though the school is now closed as students and staff are off for the two-week winter break.
A week earlier, on December 12th, three classes were closed at Clinton P.S., following a single case of the novel coronavirus.
