SMHDU Thurs COVID-19 Update Includes 159 New Cases, 38 Children

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 159 new COVID-19 cases and one new death.

38 of today’s cases are children.

Today’s update also includes 68 newly resolved cases and 4 new hospitalizations.

To date, 88 percent of the region’s over 12 population have received their first vaccine dose while 85 percent has received its second.
