A suspected impaired driver has been arrested in Wasaga Beach, following a RIDE initiative launched by three local OPP detachments.
Officers stopped numerous vehicles yesterday in the area of Highway 26, resulting in one driver, a 55 year old man, being arrested for operation over 80.
The accused has also received a 90 day driver’s license suspension and 7 day vehicle impoundment.
One other driver was issued with a three day suspension due to alcohol consumption.
