The Muskoka Lakes Fire Department responded to a chimney fire Monday night.
Firefighters from Windermere & Raymond attended.
Crews worked for 30 minutes to knock loose 3 pails of burning creosote inside the chimney, extinguishing with a dry chem extinguisher and a watering can.
The fire department reminds you to keep your flue clean and have working smoke/CO alarms.
No injuries were reported and there were no displaced persons.
