Environment Canada is out with a special weather statement for Bruce and Grey counties, warning about heavy rain and strong winds Friday night and Saturday.
Forecasters say a strong cold front will make its way through southern Ontario and bring rain and strong winds, particularly along the Georgian Bay and Lake Huron shorelines.
Gusts between 70 km/h and 100km/h are possible on Saturday.
Periods of rain are expected to begin Friday evening, heavy at times. Environment Canada says 20 to 30 millimetres of downpour could come tonight.
Saturday, more rain turning to a mix with some snow late in the afternoon is possible.
Forecasters say localized power outages, broken tree branches, flash floods and possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts are all possible due to the heavy rain and strong winds expected.
